JanesWeb started out in 2006 as Wantage IT Learning, operating from an office in
the Grove Technology Park. Wantage IT Learning was setup by myself, Jane
Humphreys, with the support of two other tutors who had previously worked at the
Didcot IT Learning Centre. Since the start of 2007 over 30 students studied with
us, increasing their skills in using email, the internet, Word, Excel,
PowerPoint, Access, FrontPage and Windows XP. A very successful full-day
introductory tutor-led course on digital photography was run by Mark Zirngast of
Newbury College in July. In autumn 2007, I branched out into website creation by
creating a website for an Oxfordshire based charity (www.oasisonline.org.uk)
using Microsoft FrontPage. Four members of the OASIS committee were trained in
maintaining the website using FrontPage and are now happily maintaining the
website themselves!
I have since focussed on developing my skills in webpage design and development
and I now create simple websites and bespoke e-newsletters.
Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or to discuss
your requirements.
